It's almost Spring; it's the season of hope, renewal and new beginnings.  It is also the 2024 11th anniversary of the  Amanda Hichkad CCA celebration Walk.    Please help to make this a very special day for our cancer community and their families.  Come walk or donate in support of the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Kaufman Cancer Center LifeNet program.   Please join me and our community for this special celebration to honor, celebrate and remember past and present cancer patients.  This year I will be virtually walking on May 11, 2024

Overview of Cancer LifeNet at UM Upper Chesapeake Kaufman Cancer Center…

· Offers over 300 supportive care services to all residents of Harford or Cecil Counties who have faced the battle of a cancer diagnosis.

· Is 100% free of charge to utilize, regardless of where he/she is receiving his/her cancer treatments.

· Is funded entirely by philanthropic dollars and donations from our local community

I am a metastatic breast cancer patient and still in treatment.  I have utilized Cancer LifeNet for the past ten years. I am truly appreciative of everything the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Cancer LifeNet program at the Kaufman Cancer Center is doing for me and other survivors and their families in our community.  Please join me with your support by giving to this great cause.
