Welcome to My Personal Page
This year is #10 for my participation in the Amanda Hichkad Walk. To say that this year is even more important than previous is an understatement. In October of 2021, my husband was diagnosed with Ampulliary Cancer. It is a rare type but involves the bile duct , liver and pancreas. We have utilized the services at the Kaufman Center and seen first hand the wonderful things that are being done in our community to help those with a cancer diagnosis. Our Oncologist was Dr. Min. We cannot say enough about his compassionate , caring ways.Everyone we came in contact with on this journey helped in so many ways. Our journey came to an end on July 31,2022. At a very difficult point in Howard’s battle he was diagnosed with another type of cancer , Lymphoma .He was unable to survive through his journey. I ask that you consider a donation to CCA and support our efforts in raising funds to support the Kaufman Center at Upper Chesapeake hospital.
Thank You,
JoAnn Dail
