The Amanda Hichkad CCA Celebration Walk, presented by Klein's Shoprite, will bring our local community together on Saturday, May 15th, 2021 to Walk to celebrate, honor and remember friends and family while raising funds to support Cancer LifeNet at UM Upper Chesapeake Health's Patricia D. & M. Scot Kaufman Cancer Center.
Named after a beloved Bel Air resident, wife, and mother of three, Amanda Hichkad, this event supports Cancer LifeNet at UM Upper Chesapeake Health's Kaufman Cancer Center. Cancer LifeNet is a free-of-charge service that provides over 300+ unique programs and services to those individuals battling or recovering from cancer treatments and their family members. These services include financial counseling, nurse navigation, holistic medicine, nutrition and beauty classes and so much more!
Since its inception in 2014, nearly $800,000 has been raised through the Amanda Hichkad CCA Celebration Walk to support high quality, localized cancer care for our local family, friends and neighbors.
Our Walk Community is committed to increasing awareness of Cancer LifeNet and its programs, honoring those who have lost their battle, supporting those living with this disease and raising funds to help keep these programs completely free of charge to the individual. The question is: who do YOU walk for?
